
What is coaching?
Coaching is a present and future-focused, collaborative process that helps you to identify your strengths, clarify your goals, and overcome challenges. Unlike psychotherapy and counselling, coaching emphasises actionable strategies and goal-oriented planning. It’s about empowering you to move forward with confidence and purpose.
Sessions are usually spaced further apart than weekly therapy appointments (e.g. fortnightly or monthly) and the process may be a lot shorter or episodic, although nothing is set in stone.
Typically coaching sessions are 90 minutes to two hours, although one hour appointments are an option.
